By donating just £3.50 you could provide a bail of hay to keep a horse warm and dry on a cold winter night.
As well as cash we are also in desperate need of haylage, horse food and accessories.

We urgently require more volunteers in the Bristol area for our two shops. Hunky males are especially in demand for lifting furniture!

Despite the tough financial climate, both of our Bristol charity shops, FIDO's and THIS & THAT furniture store are trading well.

Building has commenced on 2 new Catteries for NASSL's Welsh charities.

We have provided some much needed new stables for a Horse Sanctuary in Wales.

The giant Stingray we rehomed at http://www.BristolAquarium.co.uk has recovered well and is enjoying life in a lovely deep pool with it's new friends the Tropical Turtles.

We are launching an appeal for furniture, electrical and white goods for our new store This n' That. Please come into the shop or get in touch if you have anything you would like to donate.
04/01/2011 A New Year with tough times ahead
NASSL South West wish all our supporters a very Happy New Year for 2011. We are very grateful for your support during these tough economic times and ask for you to dig deep as we have lost two major sponsorship deals after eleven years.
Help is urgently needed from companies to donate goods for sale in our charity shops. Also needed are blankets, food for hundreds of unwanted dogs and cats plus horse feed.
12/12/2010 Giant Sting Ray Rescued
NASSL-SW has rehomed a giant Sting Ray. He has now left his home at a garden centre in the West Country and is starting a new life at the New Aquarium in the centre of Bristol with lots more room to swim around in.
15/12/2010 Horses, cats and dogs are starving.

16/04/2010 - New shop 'This & That' Now Open for Business
On Friday 16th April 2010 at 10am we opened our 2nd Charity Shop in Bristol - 'This & That' is situated just a few doors down from Fido's on Ridingleaze, Lawrence Weston.
This & That is a furniture shop which also features a hardware counter selling nuts and bolts.
